The Rev. O. K. Malone, formerly of Crawfordsville and a Presbyterian minister nearly 60 years, died Monday afternoon in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis. A resident of South Walnut Street here, he last lived in Westminster Village Retirement Home at Greenwood. A native of Buffalo, Ind., the Rev. Malone was born Oct. 30, 1885, to Francis Winfield and Sarah Ann Karr Malone. He was married here to Ethel L. Remley on Oct. 14, 1914, in the Presbyterian Church located on the present site of the City Building. The Rev. Malone attended elementary school at Buffalo, was a 1906 graduate of Monticello High School, worked for two years before entering Wabash College and was a Wabash graduate with the Class of 1910. He was graduated from McCormick Theological Seminary in 1914. Pastorates served by the Rev. Malone included Logansport, Bourbon, Orleans, Tipton, Lawrenceburg and Milligan Memorial Church at Crawfordsville. He was a delegate to the General Assembly, moderator of several Presbyteries and a life member of the Kiwanis Club. Surviving are two sons, Daniel R. Malone of Cincinnati and James F. Malone of Kewanna, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Ferguson of California and Mrs. Mercy Margaret Miller of Washington state, and three grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Mrs. Malone preceded her husband in death several years ago. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Burkhart Funeral Home with the Rev. L. K. Wickett officiating and interment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. – jlr

Wickett will officiate, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. The Rev. Mr. Malone is survived by two sons, Daniel R. Malone of Cincinnati and Orrin F. Malone of Martinez, Calif.; a brother, James F. Malone of Kewanna, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Ferguson of California and Mrs. Mercy Margaret Miller of the state of Washington, and three grandchildren and two great-grandsons. In yesterday’s obituary The Journal-Review inadvertently omitted Orrin Malone as a son and listed in error James F. Malone as a son instead of a brother. – jlr
